Suzuki Swift was first sold in US and Canada in two different versions, the GA and the GL. Later, the GTI version was added and it had fuel injection and better performance (100HP and 196km/h maximum speed). The name of the Suzuki Swift wasn’t the same everywhere. In Canada it was known as the Pontiac Firefly, in the US and Canada there was the Chevrolet Sprint, Geo Metro in the same two countries and also Maruti Esteem in India. In Japan the Suzuki Swift was named Cultus and in South America was sold as Chevrolet Swift. Some of the different models of the Suzuki Swift were a 3 and a 5 door hatchback, a sedan and a 2 door convertible.

It had three different engines at first, a carburated 1.0L, a turbocharged 1.0L and a 1.3L. The 1.3L was used by the Suzuki Swift GTI version but this one was sold only in Europe and Asia.

A few months ago, at the Paris Auto Show, Suzuki launched their new version of the Swift Sport. The Suzuki Swift Sport is a compact car with one of the best driving experiences around. I’m talking about this even as a few months passed since then, because, well, I didn’t have this blog then, so I’ll talk now about the Suzuki Swift.

The Suzuki Swift Sport is considered the flagship of the Suzuki Swift line, the car that will both rock your world when driven and make you proud to own it. The Suzuki Swift Sport grew in every single aspect, as the cornering, the acceleration and the braking were all improved and now give you a much higher satisfaction.

Its got alloy wheels with a sporty look, dual chromed tailpipes and a more agressive front bumper. In the interior, the atmosphere is complete with the red-black design. All in all, the Paris Auto Show saw a new and an improved Suzuki Swift.

There are more things to say about the Suzuki Swift Sport then I’ve managed to say so far. The important thing to say about it is that it looks like a Mini, and that means that its gorgeous and chicks will love it. But the looks aren’t all that this Suzuki Swift Sport is. It’s also superb to drive and pretty fast for a japanese goblin. It’s got a 1.6L engine that gets you from 0-100km/h in under 9 seconds and about 200km/h top speed with the help of the 123HP under the bonnet.
The japanese really got it all with this Suzuki Swift Sport. Its got perfect seats, good steering wheel and a very nice audio system. The price of the Suzuki Swift Sport is about 17.000 euro or 21.000 dollars, so about 2000 euros cheaper then a Mini, but its petrol consume is higher, so you really need to decide which one you like more.
