Total South African vehicle sales for May revealed a slight improvement of 12.76% over the April 2009 figures. With 28 972 vehicles sold locally and 13612 exported, the figures for May reflect Volkswagen’s domination in the passenger car segment – selling 3 881 vehicles locally and exporting 3450.
